Mold Solution for the High Dynamic Balance Requirement of the Combustion-supporting Wind Turbine Product
Product Requirements:
The product is a combustion-supporting wind turbine. There are inclined rib positions on the reverse side of the product. When the product is moving at a high speed, the dynamic balance value is required to be within 0.1mm.
Product Introduction:
The product is made of PPS+GF40. The product size is D84X17mm. The appearance of the product is a smooth surface, and it is a single cavity per mold.
Mold Solution:
In response to the product requirements, a detailed mold flow analysis was carried out before mold opening to determine the precise position of the gate. During the manufacturing process, strict control was exercised over the machining of the gate size, and strict control was also carried out over the dimensional tolerance of the glue position part on the mold core. In addition, the water channels were evenly arranged to ensure a constant mold temperature. Through the above measures, the product requirements were met.
Result Feedback:
Mass production was achieved at the third trial (T3) of the mold, and the customer was very satisfied.
